Woman arrested after large volume of GHB found in Whyalla

A woman has been arrested after a significant amount of GHB was discovered in Whyalla yesterday.

On Wednesday 24 June, as part of an investigation into suspected drug trafficking, Whyalla Police carried out a series of searches at several Whyalla Stuart addresses.

As a result, police allegedly located approximately three litres of GHB, contained inside multiple sealed bottles and containers.

Police also found glass pipes, and a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.

A 27-year-old Whyalla Stuart woman was arrested and charged with trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug. Police refused bail and she will appear at Whyalla Magistrates Court on 25 June.
