Woman arrested after man fatally stabbed – Eastern Beaches

Police have arrested a woman after a man was fatally stabbed at a residence in Matraville in Sydney’s Eastern Beaches.

About 6.15pm (Tuesday 28 May 2024), emergency services responded to a report of an incident at a residence on Murrabin Avenue, Matraville.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a man, however, he died at the scene.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A woman was arrested nearby and is assisting with inquiries.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command, assisted by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
