A woman has died following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s west today.
Just before 9am (Tuesday 7 March 2023), emergency services were called to Eight Avenue, near South Creek Road at Shanes Park, following reports of a crash, involving a Mazda 3 hatchback and a Genesis station wagon.
Despite the efforts of responding police and NSW Ambulance paramedics, the driver of Mazda, a 24-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The 29-year-old female driver of the Genesis and her passenger, a three-year-old girl, were not injured.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
