Police are investigating the serious assault of a woman in Sydney’s Inner West.
At 4.25pm (Wednesday 7 August 2019), emergency services were called to a home on Edwin Street, Croydon, after a 46-year-old woman was discovered inside a home with serious injuries.
The woman was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established at the location and will be forensically examined.
Detectives from Burwood Police Area Command have commenced inquires.
