A woman reported missing from Sydney’s Inner West has been located safe and well.
The 80-year-old was last seen at a community garden on the corner of Longdown and Stephen Street, Newtown, about 9.30am this morning (Sunday 18 February 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, police were notified and officers from Inner West Police Area Command commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following the issuing of an SMS geo-targeting alert, the woman was located in Newtown about 4pm today (Sunday 18 February 2024).
