A woman reported missing from the Woy Woy area has been located safe and well.
The 62-year-old woman was reported missing Monday (31 July 2023), and a search commenced.
Following a public appeal for assistance and an extensive coordinated land search, the woman was located by police and the RFS on trail bikes on the Daleys Point walking track, Killcare, about 10.30am today (Thursday 3 August 2023).
She was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District, would like to thank the community, RFS, SES and assisting police for their assistance.
