A woman has suffered serious injuries following a truck and car crash in the State’s Riverina region.
About 9am today ( Wednesday 13 December), a truck and sedan collided near the intersection of The Rock Road and Racecourse Road in Tocumwal.
NSW Ambulance attended, treating the female driver of the sedan for serious injuries. She’s been transported to Shepparton Hospital.
The truck driver was not injured. He’s been taken for mandatory testing.
Officers from the Murray River Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Crash Investigation Unit is on the way to the scene.
Racecourse Rd and the Rocks Road will be closed for several hours, with local traffic diversions in place.
