A day of chores has turned into a day of cheers for a Woodville grandmother after her Keno ticket delivered her a $1.1 million win.
The Adelaide resident scored the Keno Spot 10 jackpot in Keno draw 260914 470 drawn Monday 14 September 2026. She took home a total prize of $1,165,947.
The unsuspecting winner had no idea she’d become a millionaire while she was busy tackling laundry when we called with the thrilling news.
“This is unbelievable. I suppose you hear this all the time, but you must have the best job in the world!” she laughed.
“I’ve been dreaming of this call forever! I cannot believe this.
“Do you know what? We’re just about retired but haven’t been able to fully do it yet. Now we can!
“You’ve changed our lives. We’ve never been given any handouts, so this is just unbelievable.
“I’m sitting here doing a few little things like the laundry and taking the bins out. Who would’ve thought I’d get a call like this right now?
“I was also just thinking about what we’d cook for dinner but cancel that! I’m not cooking anything tonight.
“I don’t know what to do for the rest of the day. Is it too early to crack the champagne?
“We’ve also got a big family of children and grandchildren. It’ll help them as well.
“I want to call my husband, but he might topple over. I’ll surprise him when he gets home.
