With the resumption of Parliament today Tasmanians will be watching on with the hope that their representatives will finally make progress on the Commission of Inquiry.
Labor will be supporting the Supplementary Appropriation Bill and working to pass it through the house as soon as possible.
It will be up to the Government then to come back to the Parliament in December and show Tasmanians how exactly they will be implementing all 191 recommendations, with Parliament being extended to provide more time for scrutiny.
We want to ensure that we get this right, and we are looking forward to see how exactly the Government intends to do this.
