The remarkable achievements of some of our outstanding young women have been recognised with the announcement of our annual Young Women Leaders of Nillumbik Awards.

The awards, which celebrate the outstanding contributions of young women and gender diverse individuals aged 12-25 within Nillumbik, were presented at Council’s International Women’s Day event on Thursday 7 March.

Nillumbik Deputy Mayor Cr Karen Egan attended the event and said it is important to acknowledge the impactful endeavours of the Young Women Leaders award winners.

“Each of the award winners has played a pivotal role in shaping a more empowered and resilient Nillumbik through their meaningful contributions to our community,” Cr Egan said.

“Their passion and dedication serves as an inspiration for the Nillumbik community.”
