11 cannabis plants seized, man charged at Cobar, NSW

A man has been charged and eleven cannabis plants have been seized in the state’s north west.

Following inquiries, about 11.30am Friday (31 January 2020), officers attached to Central North Proactive Crime Team, executed a search warrant at a home on Brennan Street, Cobar.

During the search, police located and seized cannabis plants, cannabis leaf and cannabis seed.

The 53-year-old man was taken to Cobar Police Station and charged with cultivate prohibitied drug and two counts of possess prohibitied drug.

The man was issued a future court attendance notice to appear at Cobar Local Court Monday 27 April 2020.
