2024 Johnston Street Fiesta

Yarra City Council
Dancers in sparkly costumes and drummers parade down Johnston Street in Fitzroy at the Johnston Street Fiesta

The Johnston Street Fiesta turns 45 this year, celebrating the heritage, tradition, music, and food of the world’s many Spanish-speaking countries.

One of Yarra’s much-loved cultural events, the Johnston Street Fiesta welcomes you back to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American culture in the heart of Fitzroy on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February.

It’s the perfect opportunity to come out to Fitzroy and sample delicious food, live music, and traditional dance performances and to reconnect with some of our favourite cafes and restaurants in the area.

Head down to Johnston Street for eating, dancing, and enjoying some of the best local Hispanic and Latin American music.
Road closures will be in place to facilitate the safe delivery of the Johnston Street Fiesta.

Some public transport services will also be affected, so when planning your journey please visit the PTV website.
