The winners of the 2026 NT Training Awards have been announced.This year’s finalists represent communities from across the Territory, including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Milingimbi and Gunbalanya from a range of industries such as business, trades, health, community services, hospitality and technology.Winners from select categories will represent the Territory at the Australian Training Awards on Friday the 20th of November in Sydney.
The Finocchiaro CLP Government congratulates the winners and finalists of the 2026 NT Training Awards.
In its 71st year, the NT Training Awards celebrates the achievements of apprentices, trainees, students, trainers, training organisations and employers who are contributing to building a skilled workforce as the Finocchiaro CLP Government rebuilds the economy.

Minister for Education and Training, Jo Hersey, said as a former small business owner, she understands how important the VET sector and a skilled workforce are to rebuild the Territory’s economy.
“In business, you quickly learn that people are your greatest asset and in the Territory, we have some pretty extraordinary people,” Minister Hersey said.
“Last year, our CLP Government supported training delivery to more than 14,000 people, including 2200 people who commenced an apprenticeship or traineeship.
“To our winners: your dedication, your professionalism and your passion for learning set a standard for others across the Territory. You have earned this recognition, and I congratulate you wholeheartedly.”
