Police have identified and spoken to an e-bike rider following an investigation into a serious e-bike crash in Sydney’s south earlier this year.
About 3.30pm (Tuesday 29 September 2026), emergency services were called to a park on the Old Princes Highway, Engadine, following reports a child was struck by an e-bike rider.

Police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following extensive inquiries, a 13-year-old boy was spoken to at Sutherland Police Station today (Thursday 5 November 2026).
He will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
