$22 Million For Research To Improve Primary Care In Australia

Seven projects across leading Australian universities will share funding from the MRFF’s 2023 Multidisciplinary Models of Primary Care grant opportunity (Streams 1, 2 and 3). These projects will help transform patients’ access to safe, equitable and efficient primary care by:

• improving primary care for older people and those in regional and remote areas
• realising the promise and potential of digital health
• establishing a consortium that will look at new and better ways to deliver primary care and improve health outcomes.

Funding is from the MRFF’s Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research and Primary Health Care Research initiatives under the $50 million MRFF Primary Health Research Plan.
