As put by Kyam Maher

I’m delighted to announce the recipients of the first round of the ACCO Grant Fund 23-24, which aims to strengthen the Aboriginal community controlled sector.

These organisations already do an outstanding job providing much-needed services to Aboriginal communities, in areas such as training and development, cultural programs and groups and health and wellbeing support.

These grants will create new and further opportunities for future growth and ongoing positive social impacts as we work together in Closing the Gap.

As put by Lead Convenor of SAACCON Scott Wilson

On behalf of SAACCON and all our member organisations, we are delighted that the successful applicants for the 1st round of the ACCO Grant Fund 2023-2024 has been announced by the Attorney General today.

The successful Aboriginal organisations are able to continue the great work they do in the community, and it again shows how the Partnership between Aboriginal Communities and the State government is working to Close the Gap.

We look forward to seeing innovative proposals for the next round of grants that is now open and encourage ACCO’s to apply.
