ACCC grants conditional authorisation for financial and cybercrime information sharing arrangements in superannuation industry

On 17 September 2026, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (the ACCC) issued a final determination granting authorisation to the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia Ltd and other specified participants to collectively negotiate and exchange information through cyber and financial crime information sharing platforms for the purposes of identifying and responding to cyber and financial crime threats across the superannuation industry.

The ACCC grants authorisation with a condition for 5 years, until 9 October 2031.
