Police have charged a teenage boy for allegedly planning to threaten people in Maryborough.
Detectives from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Group executed a search warrant at an address in Maryborough on 27 August where multiple electronic devices and other items were seized.
The boy has since been charged with one count of each acts in preparation to cause death or grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place and possession of violent extremist material.
He is expected to front Brisbane Childrens Court today, 22 September.
There is no ongoing threat to the public, and investigations are continuing.
