Administration Officer dismissed, Community Contact Command

A female administration officer from the Community Contact Command who was suspended from duty on April 8, 2019 has been dismissed from the Queensland Police Service.

The administration officer was the subject of a criminal proceeding relating to allegations of fraud which were dismissed on October 29, 2019 in Cairns Magistrates Court. A subsequent disciplinary investigation and hearing in relation to associated allegations of misconduct resulted in her dismissal.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer has been dismissed for misconduct.
