Around 12.25pm today (22 November 2019), a man armed with a knife and his face covered entered a Book Shop located on York Street in Albany, where he demanded cash from staff.
The man was unsuccessful and left the store. He was last seen walking in a southerly direction down York Street and it is believed he cross the road into Duke Street.
The man is described as tall and slim, wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and dark pants.
