- Eid celebration attended by thousands from across the community
- Family festival supported by Cook Labor Government with $25,000
The annual Multicultural Eid Carnival by the Australian Arab Association returns to Burswood Park on Saturday 13 April for a day of free family fun.
This increasingly popular festival will feature show rides, market stalls, food vans and cultural performances throughout the day.
The Australian Arab Association Multicultural Eid Carnival is now in its 14th year and is a celebration of Eid al-Fitr, the festive culmination of the month of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr is one of the most significant times for Muslims around the world. More than 66,000 Muslims in Western Australia will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with prayers, gift-giving and donating to charity.
The Cook Labor Government is supporting this event through the Office of Multicultural Interests and Healthway.
