Appeal after armed robbery at Mudgee, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in the state’s Central West today.

About 5.10am today (Tuesday 10 November 2020), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were called to a business at the intersection of Market Street and Cox Street, Mudgee, following reports of an armed robbery.

Police have been told the man – armed with a firearm – entered the store before threatening the employee and fleeing the location.

No one was physically injured.

Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the robbery.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being 170cm tall, small-medium build wearing dark long pants and jacket with a face covering.
