Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was seriously assaulted at Strathfield overnight.
Emergency services were called to Strathfield Railway Station about 1.15am (Sunday 15 May 2022), after reports of a brawl.
Officers from Burwood and Auburn Police Area Commands attended and found a man suffering head injuries in a nearby carpark on Albert Road.
Police have been told the man was assaulted by up to three men before they were seen fleeing towards the railway station.
The injured 31-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak with. All men are described as being of Asian appearance with black hair.
The first man is depicted wearing a white t-shirt with ‘Angels: Paris’ on the front, jeans, white sneakers, a necklace and black cap.
The second man is depicted wearing a navy-blue t-shirt with a gold necklace, black pants and white sneakers. He has tattoos on his left forearm.
The third man is depicted wearing a black top with a black jacket, dark pants and white sneakers.
