Appeal for assistance: Stolen puppies in Pine Mountain, QLD

Detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for public assistance to locate two stolen puppies and reunite them with their owners in Pine Mountain.

Between 5.30pm on April 29 and 6am on April 30, unknown offenders have attended a Warrego Highway address and forced entry to the premises.

Twelve puppies were stolen from a pet play pen, ranging from eight to nine weeks in age and of various breeds including Shoodles (Shih-Tsu x Poodle), Miniature Foxie Terriers, King Charles Cavalier and a Blue Fawn Staffy.

Investigations by Ipswich CIB led to three of the puppies, two Shoodles and a Mini Foxie, being located at a Raceview address on April 30.

Members of the public located six of the puppies on the evening of April 29.

Another puppy located by a member of the public was found this morning on May 1.

All 10 puppies located so far have been returned to their owner.

Two puppies, a King Charles Cavalier and a Blue Fawn Staffy, remain outstanding.

Anyone who has seen the puppies (pictured) or has information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
