Police are appealing for public assistance after stolen credit cards were fraudulently used in Sydney’s north west last month.
Between 4.30pm on Monday 13 and 5.30am on Tuesday 14 January 2020, two vehicles parked in the carpark of a unit complex on Meryll Avenue, Baulkham Hills, had had their windows smashed and a number of items, including credit cards were stolen.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, police established the credit cards had been fraudulently used at a Northmead petrol station.
Investigators have now released CCTV vision of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man depicted is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged between 20 and 30 years, with a slim build, about 170-180cm tall and between 80-90kg.
He is shown wearing a dark hat with a logo, black jacket, camouflage long pants and black shoes.
