Appeal to locate teenager missing from the Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Blue Mountains.

Lily Callaghan, aged 16, was last seen on Heather Glen Road, Winmalee, 5.50pm today (Friday 21 July 2023).

When family noticed she was missing, they notified officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a thin build, has brown hair, and brown eyes.

Lily was last seen wearing a green coat, blue jeans, glasses and carrying a black and pink duffle bag.

She is believed to be in the Summerhayes Park or Winmalee areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
