Appeal to locate woman missing from Central Tablelands

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing woman from the State’s Central Tablelands.

Shannon Coffey, aged 28, was last seen at Kurim Avenue, Orange, on Monday 11 December 2023.

Unable to be locate or contacted since, Shannon was reported missing to officers attached to Chifley Police District yesterday (Wednesday 20 December 2023), who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Shannon’s welfare.

Shannon is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, of slim build, about 165-170cm tall, with black hair usually worn in a high bun, brown eyes, and a tattoo on right arm with the word ‘Sister’.

Police have reason to believe Shannon was in the vicinity of Lithgow Railway Station about 1.30pm on Saturday 16 December 2023.

She is known to utilise public transport and frequents the Bathurst and Western Sydney areas.
