Armed robbery appeal at Inala, QLD

Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery at Inala earlier this week.

Around 3.20pm on Wednesday, December 15, two men approached a 33-year-old woman sitting in a Mazda 2 on a Freeman Road sports field carpark.

The men threatened the woman with a knife and stole the car. It was abandoned around 20 minutes later at Olivine Place, Acacia Ridge.

The two men are described as African in appearance and in their late teens to early twenties. One man is described as having short black hair, while the other has dreadlocks.

Anyone with information that could identify the men, or may have vision of the stolen car, is asked to contact police.

The 33-year-old woman was not physically injured.
