Armed robbery appeal at Rockhampton 27 June

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following an armed robbery at a Park Avenue business in Rockhampton yesterday morning, June 26.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 9.30am, a man entered the Dooly Street store and threatened staff with a gun, making several demands for money.

Staff complied and the man left the scene on a bicycle with a large sum of cash.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Witnesses or anyone in the Park Avenue area with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision, particularly between 9am and 10am, are urged to contact police.

Anyone who recognises the man is also asked to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
