Council has successfully cleared the landslip on Armidal Road at Comara and the road has been reopened.
6pm Saturday 22 January 2022
Council has been alerted to a slip on Armidale Road at Comara, 20km West of Bellbrook at a location known as Jobs Cutting.
A Council team was on site on Saturday evening and commenced cleaning the slip, however due to fading light the work has not been completed.
The road will need to remain closed into Sunday 23 January to finalise the slip clean-up and for an inspection of the face to occur.
Our team have been able to reinstate emergency services access, should it be required.
