Yesterday (18 June 2020), Regional Investigations Unit (RIU) detectives arrested and charged a 17-year-old male youth as a result of their investigation into an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Applecross on Sunday, 3 May 2020.
It is alleged about 9.20pm, he entered the store located on Canning Highway near Reynolds Road and threatened staff with an object before fleeing on foot with a small sum of cash.
The youth from Beaconsfield has been charged with Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today, 19 June 2020.
