Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie has advised Rothesay as funders to the University of Manchester student accommodation project that reached financial close on 28 July 2026.
The £530 million development will be delivered by a consortium between Equitix and GRAHAM and will involve the building of new accommodation to include over 3,300 new student beds and a new central hub. Early works have already started and parts of the project are expected to complete and be available for students in September 2028. John Graham Construction Limited will be responsible for the design and build, whilst facilities management services will be delivered jointly by the University and by Places for People.
