Global law firm Ashurst announces the hire of two new project partners in its market-leading transport and infrastructure group in a move that will expand the firm’s focus on the energy & resources and infrastructure sectors.
Andrew McCormack – Brisbane
Andrew McCormack is an experienced front-end construction lawyer with extensive experience in the infrastructure sector in Queensland.
Andrew has a broad practice covering transport, infrastructure, resources and property development. He advises clients in both government and the private sector and has 17 years’ experience in the Brisbane market.
He will join Ashurst’s Brisbane office from Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where he has been partner for 9 years.
Chris Campbell – Perth
Chris Campbell specialises in front-end advice on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Chris’ practice covers energy and resources, infrastructure and property development, including major transport and infrastructure projects, PPP funding arrangements, commercial, residential and retail developments, urban regeneration and mining, oil and gas projects.
Chris has been a partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in its Perth office since July 2020. His experience extends across the UK, Middle East and both the east and west coast of Australia.
His appointment comes after Ashurst recently announced three new partners, Paul Lingard, Jessica Davies and Miriam D’Souza, as the firm continues to invest in its Perth office.
