Assault Appealin Brisbane City 8 March

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following an assault in Brisbane City on January 30.

At approximately 4.00pm, a 52-year-old woman was walking along Albert Street, between Margaret Street and Mary Street, when a man grabbed her from behind around the waist and held her.

The man was not known to her and released the woman after approximately 20 seconds.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 175cm tall, with a slim build and dark hair.

He was wearing a navy-blue polo, khaki green shorts, a black cap and backpack.

Detectives are appealing for the man or anyone with further information to contact police.

Victims who may have been involved in similar incidents are also urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
