Assault at Windsor Gardens school, South Australia

Police are investigating after a student assaulted another student at a Windsor Gardens school this afternoon.

Just after 3.30pm on Wednesday 25 August, Eastern District patrols were called to a college on Sudholz Road at Windsor Gardens after reports of an assault.

The victim, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted with a box cutter and scissors. She received numerous lacerations to her abdomen, lower left leg and throat.

She was taken by SAAS to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition.

A 16-year-old boy, known to the victim, has been arrested and is currently being interviewed by Eastern District Detectives.
