The Association of Independent Schools of NSW congratulates The Hon Dan Tehan on his reappointment as Federal Minister for Education.
AISNSW Chief Executive Dr Geoff Newcombe AM said over the past year working with Minister Tehan on issues affecting independent schools had been productive and he looked forward to a positive ongoing relationship.
“We’re confident that Minister Tehan will bring stability in education policy and certainty in the funding of the non-government schools sector,” Dr Newcombe said.
“I look forward to working with Minister Tehan on the implementation of a transparent needs-based funding policy, which provides a fair level of funding to all independent schools.”
