A Woodcroft dad is $60 million richer after an Oz Lotto ticket stuck to his fridge door delivered him Australia’s third biggest lottery win of 2026.

The Western Sydney resident was the only division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1707 on Tuesday 3 November 2026. He pocketed the entire $60 million jackpot.

It’s also the third biggest Oz Lotto prize in history.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have been alerted to their good fortune immediately after last night’s draw.

However, this morning, a Woodcroft dad called us to claim the $60 million prize.

“Thank you, sir! Thank you!” he exclaimed when his prize was confirmed.

“Mate, I was sitting on the couch with the wife. I checked the app and saw one person had won $60 million.

“The wife said, ‘It’s definitely not us’. But I went to the fridge where the ticket was and scanned it.

“When I saw it, I was just standing there. I couldn’t move.

“It doesn’t feel real. I don’t know – I’m all over the place. I didn’t sleep at all last night.

“It’s actually all thanks to my kids. They wanted a treat so I went to the newsagency and while I was there I bought this ticket.

“This has changed my whole life.

“I know the house I want to buy. I know what I want to do. I want to set up my family

“I’ll still be going to work, but who knows, I might even start my own business. I’ve got my dreams.

“No one has to stress any more.”

The man’s winning ticket was purchased at Woodcroft Newsagency, Shop 19A & 19C, Woodcroft Village Shopping Centre, 3 Woodcroft Drive, Woodcroft.

Woodcroft Newsagency owner Michael Boutros said he was thrilled his outlet had some a major division one winning ticket.

“Oh my gosh! That’s huge!” he exclaimed.

“A few years ago we sold a share into a syndicate that won division one in Powerball, but this is something else.

“All our customers are going to be so excited. A huge congratulations to our winner – we wish you all the very best with your prize.”
