Attempted armed robbery at Logan Village, QLD

Police have released CCTV of man who may be able to assist with investigations into the attempted armed robbery of a service station at Logan Village in April this year.

Around 10.15pm on April 18 a man entered the Albert Street business and approached the front counter.

He made repeated demands for money from the 32-year-old female console operator while concealing a type of weapon behind his back.

The console operator refused to hand over any money from the till and the man left the scene without being able to obtain any cash.

There were no other customers or staff in the store at the time of the incident.

The console operation was not physically injured.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 50’s, just under 182 cm tall, slim build with a tattoo on his left chest of a hand print and on the left bicep possibly of flowers.

He was wearing a blue baseball cap, two tone grey singlet, black football shorts and dark thongs.
