Attempted robbery at Holmsglen Reserve Ashwood

Investigators believe a 36-year-old man was walking through Holmesglen Reserve when he was approached by an unknown man about 5pm on Wednesday, 23 September.

The man dragged the victim to the ground before a second unknown man approached and attempted to reach into his pockets.

The victim managed to fight off both men and the pair fled on foot empty handed.

The Chadstone man then left and later reported the matter to police.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately 175-180cm tall with a heavy build and was wearing a red hoodie at the time.
