The Queensland Government will join the Commonwealth as a Gold Partner of the Australian Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
To be held from 13 April to 13 October 2025, the theme for Expo 2025 Osaka is ‘Designing Future Society for our Lives’. Through the World Expo Australia will connect directly with the Japanese community and millions of international visitors to promote our culture, technology, and our high-quality products and services.
Australia will be among 150 participating countries at the Expo, highlighting our strengths and contributions in areas such as clean energy, health biotech, agrifood, education, research, arts, sport, tourism and space.
World Expo 2025 Osaka will also present an opportunity to showcase our modern and diverse nation to the world and create opportunities to advance trade, tourism and investment with Japan.
The Australian Pavilion will host dedicated events for partners and their guests to promote trade and investment opportunities. A Gold Partnership will ensure the Queensland Government can make the most of the exceptional Expo opportunity.
The Australian Government will shortly open submissions from Australian businesses interested in joining Team Australia as a partner of the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
