Australian trans speaker and authenticity advocate Bobbi Barrington is calling out the fear-based rhetoric being imported from the U.S. into Australia – rhetoric that does nothing but harm trans people while distracting from real issues.
“We don’t need to borrow America’s culture wars,” Bobbi says. “Trans people in sport ? This has no impact on 99.9% of Australians. But it’s being used as a wedge issue – sowing division where none existed before.”
