Paradox FReeZA is bringing the Battle of the Bands to Wyndham for the second time! Where 11 bands will battle it out over two sweaty heats – the first heat on Saturday, 23rd of September, the second heat on Saturday, 7th of October and a climactic grand final on Saturday, 21st October from 6pm to 10pm.
The top five acts across the heats will battle it out in a finale, where the remaining contenders will be awarded over $10,000 in prizes crafted to kickstart their career in the music industry!
Get loud at the first heat as local artists Busted Chops, Henry Flemming, Mansplainers, Waste Away, Whipwerm and Zen Butler compete for their place in the finale, launching the battle. The showdown will feature headline act Ghostseeker who will finish the evening off with their heavy sound that amassed over half a million streams with their debut EP “Initium Novum” in 2022.
The second heat will rock your socks off as The Plot Twist, Calico Sunday, motion blur., Mundane Jane and Von Uan contest for a chance at the prize. An exciting headliner – The Lazy Susans, an indie rock group known for their empathetic lyrics and enchanting live performances will end the evening on a high.
Five triumphant bands from the two heats will have emerged from the intense contest to battle it out for the coveted title in an ultimate showdown.
The night promises an electrifying performance with the renowned local heroes, Masketta Fall, returning to FReeZA’s Battle series after past triumph to take the headlining spot, delivering their signature energetic sound. The band attracted notable success from their debut album “Golden” and continued to pack venues and be a rising force in the industry. Adding to the excitement, Paradox FReeZA’s very own No Body No Spirit will be sub-headlining, guaranteeing a night of unforgettable music and an intense contest of musical prowess that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

The Battle of the Bands is an all ages event and will be held at the Wyndham Youth Resource Centre, 86 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing.
