Bike theft in Werribee

Werribee police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from outside a community centre earlier this month.

The bicycle was stolen from a bike rack outside the centre on Synnot Street just after 1.30pm on 4 February.

The victim, a Werribee man, told investigators that the bicycle is valued at $1000.

Security footage shows a man taking the bike from the rack and riding away.

He is described as Caucasian, of average height, with blond/orange hair tied back into a ponytail and tattoos on both arms.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries and an image of the glass art that was stolen.
