As stated by Acting Detective Inspector Megan Goldie, Waitematā CIB:
Police and teams searching for missing woman Wolvnie Ding recovered a body in the Swanson area yesterday.
While formal identification processes are still underway, Police believe the body is that of the missing 20-year-old.
Police extend their deepest condolences to the woman’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
Family members have been informed and are being supported by Police.
Police would like to thank those who assisted in search efforts.
Her death will be referred to the Coroner.
