The Territory Labor Government will provide fully vaccinated Territorians aged 18 and over the opportunity to start booking their COVID-19 booster shot appointments from this morning.
Territorians who received their vaccination six months ago will be able to receive their booster dose from as early as 8 November 2021.
Pfizer booster doses will be available to all fully vaccinated Territorians aged 18 and over regardless of the brand of previous vaccine they received.
AstraZeneca boosters are only available to those who can’t have the Pfizer vaccine for medical reasons or people who are fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca.
The Australian Technical Advisory Group (ATAGI) on Immunisation is not currently recommending booster doses for people aged 12 to 17.
