The Boroondara Volunteer Awards is open to Australian citizens who volunteer for a community organisation in the City of Boroondara.
Award categories
This year, there are three award categories recognising volunteer-led programs and the role of individual volunteers in the local pandemic recovery.
Boroondara Volunteer of the Year
This award acknowledges the outstanding contributions of a person who volunteers in the City of Boroondara.
Volunteer Program Impact Award
This award recognises the efforts of a Boroondara volunteer program that has achieved significant outcomes for the Boroondara community.
COVID-19 Recovery Local Hero Award
This award recognises the outstanding achievements of a volunteer who has assisted the community recovery effort through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nominations open on Monday 2 August and close at 11:59pm on Friday 8 October 2021.
