Councillors
will spread out across the region on Saturday 25 May for a second set of
community information sessions discussing the City of Greater Geelong’s
proposed 2019-20 budget.
The sessions will give members of the community the chance to ask questions and
find out about projects funded in the proposed budget.
They will also serve as an opportunity for members of clubs and groups to learn
about changes to the community grants program, which is proposed to be
significantly expanded.
Councillors will visit eight different locations in the Bellarine, Brownbill
and Kardinia wards, after the Windermere Ward councillors held sessions in
Corio and Lara on Saturday 11 May.

High Street, Drysdale (outside info centre), 10.30-11.30am
The Village Warralily Shopping Centre (outside Woolworths), Armstrong Creek,
11am-midday
Bellarine Village Shopping Centre, Newcomb, 11am-midday
Newcombe
Street, Portarlington (near newsagent), midday-1pm
Murradoc Road, St Leonards (near newsagent), 1.30-2.30pm
The proposed 2019-20 budget is available for community feedback until 28 May.
