Firefighters are currently on scene at a fire in McBride Avenue, Wonthaggi.

The fire broke out in the roof space of the two-storey building at 2.27pm this afternoon (22 May).
Firefighters from Wonthaggi, San Remo, Phillip Island, Inverloch, Dalyston, and Bass Coast are fighting the fire, with 10 vehicles currently on scene.
A ladder platform from Dandenong brigade is en route.
An advice message was issued for Wonthaggi at 3.16pm.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are on scene, and McBride Avenue is closed to traffic.
Traffic in the area will be impacted. The community is asked to keep the roads clear to allow emergency services to respond.
