Police with the assistance of the K9 unit arrested a burglar red-handed in Glen Iris early this morning.
Police were called to an apartment under construction on High Street where they caught a man allegedly stealing tools and kitchen appliances just after 3am.
The offender, a man aged in his 30s was arrested.
His accomplice, a woman aged in her 20s was located asleep in a vehicle outside.
The pair, both from NSW, were arrested and are currently in custody.
