Burglary with violence in Loganholme, QLD

Queensland Police are investigating following an armed robbery that occurred in Loganholme last night, January 15.

Initial information indicates around 9pm, three men, armed with what appeared to be a shot gun and two knives, gained entry to a home along Bryants Road.

The three stole a property and money before leaving the scene. While leaving, the shotgun has discharged into a door.

A 72-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman, a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were at the property at the time and were not physically injured as a result of the incident.

A crime scene was declared and investigations are underway.

Police are appealing to anyone who lives on Bryants Road and who may have heard a loud disturbance at that time, to contact them.
